Net Worth hit an all-time high on a newly acquired PE stake.

Just received an RFMC in-principal approval from MAS this year is going to be an interesting year.

Huat Ahh.. hopefully, we can break the 10M networth .

New high again

 

Um within 2 weeks of complaining wah portfolio hit new high again ... Let's hope that this is a good year for me...

sideway trading

 

The portfolio was trading sideways - drop 264k from peak - this had happened even after collecting close to 50k of dividend in Aug and September sian.... 

What to do keep vesting loh 😂😂😂 will do a final end of the year review. 

1M Year to date gain

 

Gain close to 1M in net worth within 8 months .  High inflation seems to be observed across all sectors.

A BMW 530I which i drove for nearly 4.5 years can be sold for 160-165k which i purchased it for 250k ... 

A quick look saw the same model selling for 330k now ...

The portfolio just breeched the 4M mark this month Let's see if we can aim for 5M ...

The everything rally

 

Assets continue to inflate in value due to the devaluation of currency due to the oversupply of it. 

I am not surprised by the increase in the value of my portfolio. 

YTD - the value of my portfolio increased by around 700k.

My dividend is expected to hit 160k this year and will most prob hit 180k next year.

over printing of currency

Due to the overprinting of currency, i think for the next few inflation as measure by wants and not needs should increase to 6-8% instead of the usual 4-6%

Thus the hurdle rate for all investment classes should be set at min 8% P.A.

To grow the portfolio by min 8% a year is given not because we are good but we are comparing something that is going to devalue by 6-8% a year. 

This is a concern, I am pretty sure my portfolio is going to increase in value in the next few years but the question is what can I buy by then given the amount of money I had is the most important question.

This shall not limit me by searching a higher ROI.. given the new sets of challenges that the economy will face in the near future.
